Location: Hampton Inn – Colchester / Burlington, VT
Reports to: Housekeeping Supervisor / Executive Housekeeper
Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and presentation of guest rooms and public areas, delivering a comfortable and welcoming environment in accordance with Hampton Inn brand standards.
Clean and service assigned guest rooms (bedrooms, bathrooms, living areas) and public spaces (hallways, lounge) per Hampton standards
Make beds, change linens, launder towels, and replace used linens and toiletries.
Restock room supplies (coffee, toiletries, writing materials) and maintain housekeeping cart supplies.
Dust, vacuum, sweep, wax, scrub, and polish all relevant surfaces.
Promptly report maintenance issues, safety risks, or lost/found items to supervisors.
Ensure key control and security of guest belongings at all times.
Organize and maintain housekeeping storage areas and carts.
Adhere to all safety, sanitation, and OSHA guidelines .
Collaborate with hotel staff to meet guest requests and elevate guest satisfaction.
Prior housekeeping or hospitality experience preferred.
Excellent attention to detail, commitment to cleanliness, and organizational skills.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Time management skills to efficiently complete tasks within shift schedules.
Physical stamina to lift up to 25 lbs (sometimes more), stand, bend, walk, kneel, and reach during shifts.
Basic communication skills and professionalism.
Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
Full-time position in a 24/7 hotel environment.
Exposure to cleaning products and equipment—training and PPE provided.
Physical, fast-paced work requiring manual tasks like lifting, bending, and standing.

Starts as a Room Attendant, with opportunities to advance to Room Checker, Housekeeping Supervisor, or even Assistant Executive Housekeeper.
