**Compensation and Schedule for the Referrals/Insurance Verification Specialist**
Referrals/Insurance Verification Specialist -?Full-time, onsite, $18 per hour, Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm. Join a positive team!
**Required Qualifications of the Referrals/Insurance Verification Specialist**
- 1+ year of recent insurance verification and referrals experience required
- Bilingual in English and Spanish highly preferred
- High school diploma or GED required
- Must successfully pass a criminal background check and drug screen
**Responsibilities of the Referrals/Insurance Verification Specialist**
- Perform and process patient referrals and authorizations in a timely, effective, and efficient manner
- Implement eligibility verification as part of the referral process
- Ensure that all pertinent information and the actual referral are directed to the proper office
- Follow through with pending referrals in a timely manner
